However, most experts agree that there are six elements of fitness that are essential for a healthy and long life. These elements of fitness are: good nutrition, regular moderate-to vigorous physical activity, a reasonable level of physical activity in your daily life, a reasonable level of caloric intake, and a balanced lifestyle involving regular social interaction and relaxation.
Regular physical inactivity, such as sitting or sleeping, is a critical factor in the accumulation of body fat. Thus, an individual should strive to work on reducing his or her inactivity through fitness training, home exercise programs, and regular exercise. In addition, there are several programs available today that combine fitness training and exercise for weight loss. A fitness program combines cardiovascular exercise with strength training and can be very effective for fat reduction.
Regular exercise helps you become more physically active and increases the flow of oxygen through your body. Exercise helps you develop and strengthen your muscles, tendons and ligaments. It also helps you mentally. Exercise makes you physically flexible and increases your endurance. Through exercise, you can develop and follow your own fitness goals and become healthy and fit.
